Every expense follows the same path.

Draft, approve, post, or void it. Nothing reaches your books without someone checking it first.

  • A head start, not an automatic postingReading a receipt is an assistive first pass. Someone still checks the merchant, amount and category before it’s saved.
  • Send one in from the roadA public upload link lets a team member out on a job upload a receipt without a BX1X login.
  • Approval before it postsSpending moves from draft to approved to posted, the same control used across your accounts. See accounting.

Questions owners ask

Does BX1X read my receipts for me?

Yes. Photograph a receipt and BX1X reads off the amount and merchant so you don't have to type them in, but it's an assistive first pass, someone still checks the details before saving.

Is reading a receipt guaranteed to be accurate?

No. Treat it as a head start, not an automatic posting. A person reviews and corrects the extracted details before the expense is saved.

Can someone submit a receipt without logging in to BX1X?

Yes. There's a public upload link for a team member out on the road to send in a receipt without needing a BX1X account.

Where do I keep my suppliers' details?

Each supplier has its own record with contact details, bills, credit notes and payments, so you're not hunting through email or spreadsheets.

Can a supplier log in to see their own bills?

No. Supplier records live inside BX1X for your team to manage; there's no supplier-facing login today.

What stops an expense posting to the books by mistake?

Every expense moves through draft and approval before it posts, the same checks and balances used across accounting.
