How do I move my existing records across?
Our team does it with you as part of setup. We agree what to bring across, such as customers, items and opening balances, move it for you and check it before you start. It isn't a do-it-yourself import.
Is there a tool I can use to import my own data?
No. There's no self-service import tool, for a spreadsheet, a CSV file or anything else. The BX1X team gathers what you agree to bring across, loads it and checks it for you.
Do I have to stop using my current system straight away?
No. You keep using what you have today, spreadsheets, a paper book, another package, whatever it is, while your BX1X setup is prepared and checked alongside it. You only switch over once you and the team agree it's ready.
How long does switching take?
It depends on how many parts you switch on and how much you bring across. Many businesses start with one part, such as quotes and invoices, and add the rest once that is running.
What should I have ready before the setup call?
Whatever you use today: spreadsheets, a paper ledger, an export or report from another package, or a list of the apps you currently use and what each one holds. The team will tell you exactly what's useful once they know your setup.
What happens to my data if I stop using BX1X?
We keep a copy for 30 days after your account ends. Ask us for it within that window and the team will give it to you. It's a policy the team fulfils on request, not a self-service export.
